Cork Bits: ideas for your Napa Valley weekend
Wow, it’s H-O-T out there and is fully expected to be that way this coming weekend. Luckily, we’ve got a couple activities that are sure to keep you cool and will enable you sip on some nice, cool summer wines. Enjoy!
Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th
This weekend is the Rutherford Pass Weekend, where several Rutherford Appellation wineries will be doing special pourings, tastings and on-site entertainment. A two day pass costs $50 per person and a Sunday only pass is $40 per person and will get you into all of the participating wineries. Some of those participating include Alpha Omega, Fleury Estate Winery, Honig Vineyard and Winery, Tres Sabores Winery and others. Tickets are available for purchase online
Sunday, May 18th
- Andretti Winery will host a ‘Summer Whites Party‘ from 1pm - 4pm at 4162 Big Ranch Road in Napa. The event will include a unique blind wine tasting and the opportunity to taste the winery’s newest release–a 2007 Napa Valley Pinot Grigio. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 877-386-5070 x225. Cost is $20 per person for non-wine club members.
