Cork Bits: ideas for your Napa Valley weekend

by Karen on March 20, 2008

It’s Thursday, the first official day of Spring and we’re running around like never before (yep, another day has come and gone and, alas, no car for us). Late, yes, but here are a couple events that are worth checking out this weekend in the Napa Valley.

Saturday, March 22nd

  • Taste of YountvilleThe 15th annual Taste of Yountville takes place from 11am – 5pm in downtown Yountville. For those of you who don’t know what this event is, you can always check out our coverage from last year. We’re planning to be there again this year (cameras and appetites in tow), enjoying samplings of gourmet restaurant fare, olive oils, vinegars, mustards, fine wines, micro-brews and live music. The weather is supposed to be perfect, so come on out and say hello to us!

Sunday, March 23rd

  • Bayleaf Restaurant, which is located at 2025 Monticello Road in Napa, will host a traditional Easter egg hunt at 8am. All you need to do is call 707-257-9720 to make a reservation and then bring your children with their easter egg basket to join in the fun

Enjoy!
