Well, here we are headed into the last weekend before Valentines Day (it’s next Thursday guys), so we’ve got a weekend full of events with Pinot (of all kinds), Cabernet Sauvignon and, of course, chocolate. Enjoy!

Friday, February 8

  • Our friends over at Back Room Wines in downtown Napa will host a Pinot Party from 5pm – 9pm. For $15 per person you’ll be able to sample six different Pinots, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Pinotage. The will also be snacks and each wine poured will be available for purchase at a special 10% discount. Stop by 974 Franklin St. or try 707-226-1378 for more information

Saturday, February 9

  • From 10am – 4pm, Raymond Vineyards will host a release party to celebrate the release of the 2004 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2005 Rutherford Merlot. Each wine will be paired with locally produced dark chocolates and attendees will be able to get a sneak peek at new small lot wines being released later this spring. Cost is $15 per person and free for wine club members–check it out at 849 Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena. Call 800-525-2659 for more information
  • Cartlidge & Browne Winery will host a wine and chocolate celebration where you’ll be able to sample a variety of the winery’s wines and indulge in some scrumptious chocolate. There is no charge for the event, which will take place between 12pm – 4pm at 205 Jim Oswalt Way, Suite B in American Canyon, and as always, it’s free to taste. Call 707-552-5199 x215 for more information

Happy weekend!
