Granted, it’s now mid-January, but this year has seen an early start to the annual mustard growth in the Napa Valley. We started spotting it back around Christmas, and while out on one of our favorite Rutherford backroads on Monday we had to stop to snap a couple photos.
As you’ll see, the mustard is in full bloom in certain parts of the valley and promises to be gorgeous when the 2008 Napa Valley Mustard Festival officially kicks-off on February 2nd.
