The much-hyped Oxbow Public Market in downtown Napa officially opens today, with the main market hall opening on a limited basis. Nestled near Copia and the currently-under-construction Westin Verasa Napa Residences, Oxbow Public Market will, according to the website, be made up of “…ten ‘Farmstands’ along the Easter side of the Central Market Hall, essentially creating a daily farmers’ market.’

Oxbow Public MarketEventually, you’ll be able to find local wine, cheese and other provisions at the market, which is part of downtown Napa’s on-going expansion. Come January, the market will be home to Taylor’s Automatic Refresher and The Model Bakery, among others.

A recent article in the St. Helena Star has further details.
