by Karen on December 13, 2007

Well, the weekend is upon us and we’ve got a ton to do. How many shopping days are left ’till Christmas? Ah, who knows?! We do know there are quite a few fun and interesting events happening this weekend in the valley…

Thursday, December 13

  • Our friends at Stave Wine Lounge in downtown Napa will host a holiday party from 5pm – 10pm at 1149 First Street. If you’re not familiar with Stave and how it works, check out our previous post here. Expect some free bubbly at the door and holiday treats–there’s no cost to get in, you’ll just pay for any tasting you do. Call 707-259-5411 for more information

Friday, December 14

  • JV Wine and Spirits, also in downtown Napa, will host a Carneros District AVA wine tasting from 4pm – 7pm at 301 First Street. For just $2/person, you’ll be able to sip wines from producers such as Bouchaine, Clos Du Val, Etude, Havens Wine Cellars, Generations of Sonoma, Castle Vineyards, Gloria Ferrer and more. Call 707-253-2624 for more information

Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16

  • Hans Fahden Vineyards will play host to Carlos in the Caves on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. The event, which will be set in a candlelit, lakeside, mountain-top cave at 4855 Petrified Forest Road in Calistoga, will feature a mixture of harps, flutes, panpipes, bells, a variety of drums and other instruments all utilizing the natural acoustics of the cave.
