Photos: More than just wine grapes growing in Napa

by TrevR on November 19, 2007

It’s no secret the Napa Valley is fertile ground for growing wine grapes…but this time of year, there are other things growing in these parts as well.

Regular Cork Board reader and guest contributor Bruce Allen was in the valley just a couple weeks ago and sent along some timely photos that he’s kindly allowed us to share with you here.

Check out what Bruce spotted roaming the hillside in the south/south eastern Napa Valley.

  • A familiar sight here at the Sea Ranch, too! Although they always seem to disappear right around Thanksgiving... Seriously! We think they may go hang out in the woods until the smell of roast turkey dissipates.
