Compadres Bar & Grill not leaving Napa Valley afterall

in Napa news

Earlier this year we reported that Compadres Bar & Grill was leaving its long-time Napa Valley home in the center of Yountville. At the time, Compadres had little or nothing to say about the move, leading us to believe the restaurant had seen its last days in the Napa Valley.

Now, The Cork Board has learned that Compadres, which has already closed up shop in Yountville, plans to re-open in “Napa proper” on November 26. Having purchased the business and assets of River City Restaurant Bar and Grill, the Compadres crew is currently in the process of moving in and making some small changes to the location. As we previously noted, the landlord in Yountville would not renew Compadres’ lease, instead wanting to fill the space with a more up-scale, pricier dining establishment.

So there you have it, look for the new Compadres at 505 Lincoln Ave. in Napa shortly after Thanksgiving.
