Well, well, well…we’ve made it to the final weekend in October, so you know what that means: a Halloween-themed edition of Cork Bits, of course!
Saturday, October 27
- Napa Valley Museum will host local historian Rebecca Yerger for “Halloween Hauntings – Part True” from 12pm – 2pm. Yerger will tell eerie tales of local Napa ghosts that range from the silly to the scary! There will be Halloween-themed jewelry and a decor collection with Halloween treats and goodies to enjoy as well. Cost is free with museum admission ($4.50 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 7 – 17). Located at 55 Presidents Circle in Yountville. Call: 707-944-0500 for more information
- After a day of spooky stories and eats, you can head on over to Silverado Brewing Company at 3020 St. Helena Highway in St. Helena for music and booze. The brewery will host the 7th Annual Boogie Frights celebration, starting at 9pm. While a costume is not required, it is strongly recommended. No one under 21 admitted–DJ music will be provided by Mr. Magnetic and J-million. Cost is $15, call 707-967-9876 for all the details
Friday, October 26 – Sunday, October 28
- Wineries of Napa Valley will host haunted wine tastings all weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from 3pm – 6pm daily. No reservations required are required. Cost is $10, located at 1285 Napa Town Center (near Gillwoods) in Napa. Call: 707-253-9450 for more information. Also, if you’ll be in the Napa Valley on Halloween, throw on a costume and drop by for a free tasting
