Domaine Chandon, the Yountville sparkling winery and restaurant that once hosted Jessica Simpson and now ex-hubby Nick Lachey, has kicked-off a contest to find the ‘savvy entertainer of the year’.

In partnership with the Fine Living Network, Chandon is offering a $25,000 prize and the opportunity to implement your idea of holiday entertainment at the Domaine Chandon property during the 2008 holiday season.

Here’s how it works. You simply film and edit a 2-3 minute video showing your answer to the question “how do you show your savvy entertaining style?” Then, you login to the website, upload your video before the January 4, 2008 deadline and cross your fingers. The winner will reportedly be announced on February 15, 2008. Ironically, those of us who live in Napa, or anywhere in California, Tennessee, Utah or Puerto Rico are not eligible.

No word on whether any of this fun will eventually make it to air on the Fine Living Network…
