It’s Thursday and the sun is shining…time to get ready for the best part of the week, the weekend! Here are a couple events that should showcase what the Napa Valley is known for: big, bold Cabernet Sauvignon!
Saturday, September 29
Raymond Vineyards will celebrate thirty years of Cabernet Sauvignon with the release of its 2004 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Attendees will be able to taste all of the winery’s new and current releases while enjoying live music and finger foods on the outside terrace. Each guest receives a souvenir Raymond logo glass. Sunday, September 30
ZD Wines will host a celebration of its own, this one around the release of its 2005 ZD Cabernet Sauvignon. Guest chef Craig Strong of the Ritz Carlton Huntington in Pasadena will be on-hand for the wine and food pairing. Chef Strong has developed a special recipe for the 2005 Cabernet, including goose breast with salsify, chanterelle mushrooms, baby carrots, pecans and huckleberry sauce.
