With the 2007 Napa Valley wine harvest pretty much in full gear, there is certainly no shortage of events happening in and around the valley. Here are a couple that look promising for this coming weekend.
Saturday, September 8th
- The annual Napa Wine and Crafts Faire will feature 200 artists showing original, handcrafted art and crafts, Napa Valley wines, micro-brewed beer, and plenty of food. 10am – 5:30pm on First Street in downtown Napa. No charge to wander the streets, call 707-226-7459 for more information.
- St. Supery Vineyards and Winery in Rutherford is offering the chance to wander through the rows of its world famous Rutherford Estate Vineyard. A winery representative will be on hand to discuss grafting, planting, training, trellising and much more. The experience includes a sampling of wine grapes and concludes with a tasting of St. Supery wines. 11am – 12pm at 8440 St. Helena Hwy. $30 per person, call 800-231-9116 for more information.
Happy weekend!
