SOLD: Napa’s Chateau Potelle Winery

Change continues in the Napa Valley wine business with news today that Chateau Potelle Winery has been sold to Jess Jackson.

According to Wine Enthusiast:
The deal includes 30-plus acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Chardonnay, but not the Potelle brand or inventory, which will remain in the hands of the founders, Jean-Noel and Marketta Fourmeaux [...]

A common sight up and down the Napa Valley

You can hardly drive anywhere in the valley right now without seeing these large hauling bins for the wine grapes either parked at the end of the rows and rows of vineyards or being pulled down the road by big trucks.
