‘Napa barn meets San Francisco loft’ –new resort opens in Napa Valley
Late last week a swanky new resort opened on 25-acres in the Napa Valley town of Calistoga. Solage Calistoga has been under construction for some time, we’ve literally watched the 89-room development, which is located at 755 Silverado Trail, sprout up out of the ground from nothing over the past several months.
The resort features an on-site bistro (Solbar), a full-service spa (Spa Solage) that offers various treatments, facials and a 130-foot swimming pool surrounded by cabanas and each of the 89 “studios” includes “…open floor plans, warm color palates, stone showers with pebble flooring and contemporary furnishings…” according to the grand opening press release.
The resort is a new brand from Auberge Resorts, the award-winning creators of Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford, and like Gaia Napa Valley further to the south, Solage is focused on running a sustainable operation.
