- Rubicon Estate is hosting its 2004 CASK Release Party. Guests will be greeted to a barrel tasting and cave tour with the soothing sounds of jazz music. Barbeque and other foods served will surely enhance the taste of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Food will be prepared by Chef Kelly McCown. 4pm – 7pm at 1991 St. Helena Highway, Rutherford. - Preservation Hall Jazz Band will kick off Robert Mondavi Winery’s 2007 Summer Festival Concert Series. Listening to New Orleans style jazz while enjoying July 4th fireworks just can’t be beat! Concert begins at 7pm at Highway 29, Oakville. (888) 766-6328. Cost: $55 for General Admission.
- Copia is calling all Zinfandel fans for this weekend’s ‘Zinfandel Madness’ event. Delicious Zins will be paired with equally mouth-watering barbequed brisket, ribs, shrimp and more. Live music by Wine County Stompers will be a sure treat. Calistoga’s Buster’s Southern Barbeque, who will be serving grilled tri-tip or chicken with BBQ sauce and Napa’s Made In Napa Valley who will be serving BBQ favorites with their delicious barbeque sauce and rubs are a just a couple of the featured BBQ cuisines.
