Mondavi family drama to be explored in new book

by TrevR on June 17, 2007

You may have heard about a new book due out next week called “The House of Mondavi”, which is said to chronicle the dramatic rise and fall of the Mondavi family empire. Penned by Wall Street Journal contributing writer Julie Flynn Siler, the book is due to be released on Tuesday (6/19).

On Friday, Siler ran an excerpt in the Wall Street Journal and we’ve conducted a one-on-one interview with her that you’ll be able to read right here on The Cork Board come Monday (6/18).

In the meantime, here’s a quick video interview Siler conducted with winemaker Michael Mondavi about the drama that resulted from Mondavi going public (pardon the up-front commercial, it’s a WSJ thing and out of our control).

Thanks for posting this. Interesting stuff.

What do you think of the “Folio” wines? I rather like some of them.

Haven’t yet had any of the Folio wines. Which do you suggest? :)
