Michael Mondavi family opens new Napa Valley winery

by TrevR on April 21, 2007

Earlier this week the Michael Mondavi family announced the opening of the Folio Winemakers’ Studio in the Carneros region of the Napa Valley. The Mondavi family purchased the winery, formerly known as Carneors Creek Winery, in September 2006 from Francis and Kathleen Mahoney.

FolioThe Folio Winemakers’ Studio (located at 1285 Dealy Lane in Napa), has a ‘Taste Gallery’ that offers visitors the ability to taste and purchase all the wines produced at the winery, including I’M (Isabel Mondavi) Wines, Oberon, Hangtime, Spellbound, Medusa and Mahoney Vineyards. The Taste Gallery is open daily from 10am – 5pm.

If you happen to drop by, come back and tell us what you thought!

This is the old Mahoney Vineyards tasting room? Cool-more variety available when I go bicycling in Carneros.
