Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15:
- The Hess Collection Winery will be hosting its monthly Cellar Door Red Weekend. The Cellar Door Red Weekend seeks to recall the 19th century origins of the winery as an exotic mountain resort in “The Napa Redwoods”. This was a time when it was not unusual for locals to refill their bottles at a local winery, so here’s how it works. You can purchase a half-gallon commemorative bottle and can to return to the original barrel chai on the second weekend of each month to refill your bottle with wine made from Mount Veeder grapes–just like locals would have a hundred years ago. 10am – 5pm at 4411 Redwood Road, Napa. (707) 255-1144. Cost: Commemorative bottle: $21, bottle refills $18.
Have a great weekend!
