While Spring has only been officially “sprung” for little over a week now, the weather has been spoiling us with beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures for quite a while now. This kind of weather has us looking forward to Summer already–particularly the warm nights outdoors that come along with it. If you’re craving nights under the stars with good music and wine like we are, then you’ll be glad to know that Robert Mondavi Winery has announced the lineup for its popular Summer Festival 2007.
The summer music festival, which has been a favorite of visitors and locals since 1969, is set in picturesque Mondavi vineyards and is the perfect way to get in a picnic and cap off a summer evening in the Napa Valley. Another great reason to hit up the event is that it helps benefit local arts in the community.
This year the festival kicks off on June 30th with jazz music from Preservation Hall Jazz Band, somewhat of an annual tradition, and includes a fireworks display. Herbie Hancock and Los Lobos are some of the other headliners this year. For a complete listing of the events scheduled and for ticket ordering information click here.
