You may have noticed that posting has been spotty over the past few days…We’ve been a bit out of commission with a nasty illness that has proven to be quite difficult to shake, but rest assured, we’re slowly getting healthier and will be back in full swing shortly.
As we spent a very low-key weekend at home wishing we weren’t sick (the weather was amazing), we stumbled upon on of my wife’s favorite television shows, “Giada’s Weekend Getaways“, on The Food Network. Little did we know Giada DeLaurentiis would be visiting the Napa Valley in this particular episode!
It was fun to see Giada hit up some of our favorites, like the Napa General Store right down near the river and Cindy’s Backstreet Kitchen, a killer restaurant up in St. Helena (we recommend Cindy’s Curried Chicken salad if you’re looking for something on the lighter side).
