Known for screwcaps, amazing wine blends and non-conformist marketing and packaging, St. Helena-based Three Thieves recently unveiled its latest release: The Show. The Show from Three ThievesThe Three Thieves, founded by Joel Gott, Charles Bieler and Roger Scommegna, first launched in 2003 and has quickly developed a small, cult-like following.

As we’ve previously mentioned, marketing to the young wine consumer is becoming increasingly important for local vintners who face worldwide competition. Three Thieves gets it–they’ve even setup a MySpace page for The Show, which currently has some 25+ ‘friends’. Oh, and about the latest release? The Show’s MySpace page says:

The Show grabs your attention. Big and bold, it is dominated by full flavors of dried black cherries, jammy preserves and layers of spice and sweet vanilla.

Sounds yummy! Can’t wait to get our hands on a bottle or two. The new 2005 release is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend that retails for $14.99.
