Ubuntu Restaurant
The restaurant features a menu of daily-harvested organic food, with a focus on farm-fresh produce, much of it from the restaurant's own biodynamic gardens. Ubuntu, briefly stated, is "humanity toward others", which is the basis of this community-focused restaurant. (edit)

Being a vegetarian, I find that I'm usually restricted to either pasta or salads for my meal options. How lucky Napans are to have Ubuntu in their backyard! The food is simply delicious. We started off with the chickpea fries and then had grits, a beet salad and of course had the cheesecake in a jar. Wow. I definitely recommend this place. I also had 2 wines from their "tasting menu" where you are given 2 oz pours. The wines were delicous and the portions were generous. I'll definitely bring my veg and non-veg friends to Ubuntu!

We went to Ubuntu a few weekends ago and it was definitely an experience. Being an avid meat lover, I was a little skeptical as to whether or not I was going to walk out feeling satisfied with my meal. After this visit, I will definitely be going back for a second, third, fourth visit!

We had the Chickpea Fries, Cauliflower in a Cast Iron Pot, and Deep Fried Egg with Gribiche and Spring Onion. Everything was delicious! We closed our dining experience with their "cheesecake in a jar". Wow! Even though it was a lighter version of the traditional cheesecake, the flavor was definitely NOT lacking.

The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed which we LOVED. Overall great experience.
