i love everything about rubicon. we have been there several times as we are wine club members. they always treat you so well and are very very classy.
it is just over all a great experience. we always top by the little cafe and get a bottle of wine and sit out on the terrace area by the fountain after the tasting.
Must visit when in Napa

Now, keep in mind that I was a tourist in Napa. Locals may not be as enthused by this winery. But I loved it.
You take a step back into Napa history with the tour and Chateau. The wines are consistently good. We had a great wine guide - Ed. But everyone was very friendly. The grounds are beautiful and worth taking some time to linger over a glass of wine and some cheese and a baguette. We spent about an hour and a half there.
Highly recommend the Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Zinfandel. (We loved the Rubicon but it was too pricey for us.)
