i have been there twice, once as a regular tourist, and once as an industry private tasting. both times i had a lovely time. the wine was great, the grounds were beautiful. i found it very relaxing and will probably go back again in a few months.
Simply wonderful (Posted by: wino07 on 04-16-2009 @ 10:01 AM)
I disagree with the above review-I have tasted here several times, and each time bring a wonderfully paced personalized experience. I enjoy not feeling rushed, or having to fight my way up to the bar as with many other tasting rooms in the valley. Each time, I thought the interaction with the staff was great and they're very friendly.
Gorgeous grounds, amazing wines (delish reds!). Could be a bit pricey for the tasting, but well worth it.
A bit too corporate for my liking (Posted by: TrevR on 05-25-2007 @ 9:41 PM)
The wines are good, no doubt about that. My issue is around the actual winetasting experience--it feels far too corporate and impersonal for my taste. When I was there last there must have been 10+ staffers working the tasting room on a Friday afternoon, a bit of overkill if you ask me.
