A Must Visit

Downtown Yountville is home to quite a few tasting rooms, and the wines at Cornerstone Cellars make it a must visit.
For ten bucks, you can taste Cornerstone's second label wines (called Stepping Stone,) including a Sauvignon Blanc, a blend, a Claret, and a Cab. The other option is a $15 one with four Cabs. On my visit, I went whole hog and tried 'em all. Not a bad one in the bunch. The wines range in price from about $20 to about $125.
The tasting room associate, Allison, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The tasting room was filled with photographs and other artwork. Tasters have the option of sitting at tables or standing at the bar.
As a bonus, they had three different olive oils to taste along with breads from Bouchon.
